A Message from Aimee | ||||||||||||||||
This month we focus on being connected. Connect with old friends. Catchup with out of town family. Get in touch with those that may have fallen through the cracks so to speak.
Not sure how? Ask any 10 year old and he’ll tell you there are dozens of ways to connect … via blogs, text messages, cell phones, picture messaging, iChat and even the infamous pen, paper & mail! Moving Moment | ||||||||||||||||
Sleeping beauty. While yes, she was asleep here … and in several other shots of her, no, she did not remain asleep. She was quite “wide-eyed and bushy tailed” as they say.
But that’s ok … we were working on her schedule and when she was ready to take that cat-nap, she did and we capture some more beautiful images. Congrats to Mom & Dad on one gorgeous little girl!

Reduce. Reuse. Recycle.
Every print order we submit to our professional print lab is sent to us as an individual package. One of the many reasons it takes four-ish weeks to get your prints is because we delibrately submit prints to our lab one time per week. This one simple step combines all our prints into one package, ships to us as one, and reduces the number of cardboard boxes, plastic bubble wrap and shipping supplies needed or used. |

This Cary family, with two under three and two digital point & shoot cameras was the very first on-location guinea pig for Aimee back in 2005 upon the birth of their first child.

The two quickly learned that custom photography is in fact for them! Many of this family’s photography sessions have been at their home, in the “old” Pure Expressions Photography studio or other locations including Grandma and Grandpa’s new home in Oxford, NC. To any parent with a child in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital, the days are filled with happiness and saddness, stress and calm, moments of anxiety and dread and momets of complete elation.
From the website, “For Nicole and her husband, Ed, a seemingly healthy pregnancy took an unexpected turn and resulted in the birth of two profoundly, premature babies. Like so many parents of preemies, she and her husband were suddenly thrust into the unfamiliar, terrifying world of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The first time they saw their babies, they looked miniscule next to the tangle of life-sustaining tubes and beeping machines. Would their babies survive? This couple quickly learned the meaning of the “NICU rollercoaster.” Read more about the book online … NICU Rollercoaster |
