Laura Kelly and Kidzpiks to support the Boys & Girls Club of Wake County Saturday, November 1st!
Kidzpiks an Apex, NC based children’s photography studio is set to host Laura Kelly, for a very special Christmas event Saturday, November 1, 2008 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm.
In an effort to take the relationship between Laura Kelly designs and Kidzpiks to the next level, the two have teamed up for a “Meet Laura Kelly” day to be held at the Kidzpiks studio. The two companies have been a team since April, 2008 when they announced their partnership via the design of kid-centric, vibrant, bold & fun photographic backgrounds designed by Laura Kelly. “November 1st is when most people kick off their Christmas Season, and when Kidzpiks will launch its fourth Laura Kelly background — aptly named “Christmas”,” said Aimee Bickers, owner of Kidzpiks.
It’s not just design and artistic vision that draw Laura Kelly & Aimee Bickers together. It’s a drive to help others. The November 1st kick off of “Christmas” will benefit the Wake County Boys & Girls Club. On that day, Laura Kelly will provide goodie bags and custom Paper Kid drawings to the first 200 kids in exchange for one art supply. Kidzpiks will provide one 2009 Just Me or Just Us Session for two art supplies.
“Our ability to thrive and be successfully happy begins with our childhood. When I share pieces of myself through my art, it supports my dream for a loving and connected community. Reaching out to the Boys & Girls Club is a great opportunity to make a difference for those who deserve extra chances and extra care, the children in our surrounding neighborhoods,” says Laura Kelly.
