Wow! This teeny tiny young woman amazed me at our first meeting by informing she’d spent the last four years playing the bass drum in marching band. Having been a band-girl in my time, I know exactly 1) how big a bass drum is and 2) how heave a bass drum is and 3) how tired one gets by marching and playing a bass drum. Talk about the exception to the rule! She’s the exception!

And now, after an hour at Jordan Lake we can see that this drummer is ready to take on the world. Anyone that can carry and play a bass drum will have the world wrapped around her finger. 🙂
