What was your favorite Halloween costume as a kid?

Thank you, up front, to “I Am A Reader, Not A Writer”, and The Diary of a Bookworm for hosting this awesome hop!

Halloween is upon us, isn’t it? And with Halloween comes all the fun of costumes and making ourselves into something we’re not. Whether that’s ghost, goblin, witch, zombie, whether we change our hair color or paint our faces … it’s all about dressing up into something far far different.

I did it. My kids do it. Halloween is a tradition of getting all geared up and heading out for as much candy as possible. As MUCH as possible. Yet candy isn’t the real reason for the ‘holiday’ … it’s the dressing up part.

Kinda like my Mimics of Rune – who can be any people … they can dress up to look like … anyone they want. I’d kinda like that little gift. Wouldn’t you? If so, I’d automatically turn into a 120 lb woman who’s an inch or so taller than I am. I’ll keep the hair color and eye color, my long fingers and long legs, but all the rest will resemble … say … someone more like Angelina Jolie … you know … thin and gorgeous.

Since I can’t do that, I’ll stick with picking a fun Halloween costume. My favorite, that I remember when I was a kid? The wonder witch, complete with pointy hat. Oh yeah. πŸ™‚
