Do women always know when to ask the wrong question? #sixsunday
From Misguided, my short in the Into the Unknown Anthology due out December 1, 2011 from the point of view of Wyatt Moreland, main character in Little White Lies!
Charley swung their hands as they passed over the cobblestone path. The outdoors brought the sounds of traffic as well as a burst of scent from the flowers and the warmth of the sun. “Wyatt?” Her sweetness stirred him.
“Yeah?”
“I want back in.”
So will he let her rejoin his group? Or will he push her away in the name of keeping her safe?
Ever had a moment where a decision you thought was done. Over. Finished. And it came back to haunt you? Share in the comments!
Her sweetness stirred him… love that line. Gives me not only an idea of the sound of her voice, but about his feelings for her. Great six!!

Awesome 6. Loved it. And knowing Charley and her habit of getting her own way ….. 🙂
Of course she wants back in, and that’s the fun part, reading to see if he’ll let her, hehehe! I liked this, nice work. ^_^
Great six — I just love me some Wyatt 🙂
Love the six, Aimee! It’s great reading you! Hope you have a fantastic Sunday!
I love this six. very descriptive and fun!
Enjoyed your six!
Ah youth. The sweetness of it all. Lovely six. So poignant.
I’ve definitely had a few moments when a decision I thought was over came back for more (unwanted) consideration. Great six, Aimee. This excerpt really puts that feeling into words. I love the mood of it. And the last line made it particularly significant.
The hand swinging should have been his first clue she was turning on the charm for something she wanted. LOL
Lovely voice in this. Thanks for sharing!
Great six! Very well written. Thank you.
Great six!
