Of course the win is a mere celebration status and the book is nowhere near done. But it’s a major accomplishment to complete 50,000 words in 30 days with everything else that has been going on. So cool!
Congrats Aimee. I agree, it’s a huge milestone. This novel is the longest I’ve written and we’re in a pretty special group of people, a lot of people won’t get the chance to write this much.
And by the way, I work MUCH more efficiently when I have WAY too much to do. Granted the story is only 1/2 complete and in no way edited, but hey … it’s 1/2 complete! 🙂
I’m so very happy for you. All your hard work sacrifice as paid off.
You have a great week.

Thanks Claire & Benjamin! I’m psyched that I hit it, but now I have to finish ti! 🙂 So cool to be part of the “winners”!
Doesn’t that NaNo logo look so good? There’s a lot of work still to do, so don’t rest yet. Editing is what December is for, remember. 🙂
Not that that’s stopped me starting early…
It feels great except that the story itself isn’t done, so I still have THAT to get through. 🙂
Congrats on the win, Aimee! I’m pretty happy with the way mine turned out, despite the ups and downs of the month.
Congrats! I dropped out on the first week itself. I honestly have no idea, how you managed to pull this off! Hats off to you.
Thanks Carol! It’s really cool, isn’t it?
Aniket! Next year! 😉

Congratulations on completing that much in time! Sara tried to keep up but slowly slipped behind.
Thanks Doug! Sara’ll have tons of future opportunities if she wants to try again! 🙂
Conrats! My son Dr. (almost) Davin did as well.
Very cool Anton! 🙂
