A reason to write | the joy of a creative life
If you know both my persona’s, you’ll know that yesterday’s short story was driven from an internal frustration in my ‘real’ job. A job I love, I should add.
However, just as with anything that one loves, the opportunity to hate it generally will present itself — at what level though will depend on one’s state of mind.
I found, probably like many, that as soon as I wrote the story, I was able to let my frustration go — it had alleviated the burden and I was again able to focus.
I find it interesting that I have two uniquely difficult, completely self-indulgent and creative outlets in which I earn a living and go figure that one feeds the other with both ideas as well as outlets when needed.
The joy of a creative life …
This is a very interesting idea Aimee. I think it’s a great technique for letting go of the frustrations in life.
It really did help and the realization that that’s what did it was very enlightening to me. 🙂
