Cary Chapel and Gardens, located in Cary, North Carolina has asked the award-winning photographers of Pure Expressions Photography of Apex, North Carolina to create the ultimate bridal portrait for display in its bridal suite.

The Cary Chapel and Gardens incorporates a romantic Victorian style chapel with a glowing fireplace as well as an outdoor gazebo garden area for weddings. Since it’s opening in late 2008, the Chapel has created an atmosphere of romance, elegance and love for its brides and grooms. “We’ve worked with many brides and grooms since we opened and loved being a part of each of these marriages,” says Owner and Wedding Director Kay Hubbell. “Now rather than simply providing a space and seeing our brides and grooms walk away at the end of their ceremony, we want to relive, in an image (or two), part of the experience,” she adds.

Pure Expressions Photography was consulted about the project, with the idea of obtaining a beautiful bridal portrait created from within the walls of the Chapel. “Kay indicated that she wanted something to treasure, something to show off the beauty of the chapel but with a bride,” says Aimee Bickers, owner of Pure Expressions Photography. “It was our suggestion that we create the bridal portrait with a bride who plans to hold her ceremony at the Chapel. This way, while on display, the image will tell even more of a compelling story because it’ll be completely real,” adds Aimee.

The bridal portrait, once created, will hang in the bridal suite of the Cary Chapel and Gardens and additional portraits may be added to the consultation rooms in which Kay meets with potential brides and grooms. “We want to remember our weddings in more than just paperwork. We want a connection and the bridal portraits, created right here in our gorgeous facility, will give us that,” explains Kay.
