Apex, NC — Gorgeous Gowns and Wedding Dresses Consignment Boutique located in Cary, North Carolina has asked the award winning photographers of Pure Expressions Photography of Apex, North Carolina to create bridal portraits exclusively for the walls of its store.

“We keep our inventory of dresses fresh, current and within three years of their introduction to the bridal market,” says Gorgeous Gowns owner Liz Pogue, adding “so it was with this in mind that we decided to change out the prints that were hung in our store to more appropriately represent today’s brides.”

The wedding gowns at Gorgeous Gowns and Wedding Dresses are one of a kind and range in all sizes including plus sizes. Most gowns are priced at half their original retail cost or lower. Many of our gowns are by popular designers such as Alfred Angelo, Alfred Sung, Angolique, Demitrios, Eden Bridal, Ian Stewart, Jessica McClintock, Maggie Sottero, Moonlight Bridal, Mon Cheri, Mori Lee, Paloma Blanca, P.C. Mary’s, Oleg Cassini, and Pronovias. The store also carries an extensive collection for bridesmaids, mother of the bride, grandmothers, and flower girls as well as the accessories including veils, slips, corsets, gloves, and shoes as well as tiaras and bridal jewelry.

In March, Pure Expressions Photography hung two portraits for the store to begin the partnership. “We work with brides all year long and their dresses come from any number of places. To work directly with a store for the purposes of displaying images of their brides in their gown is a wonderful opportunity for us,” says Pure Expressions Photography owner Aimee Bickers. “We love giving women and opportunity to look beautiful and to show off even just a little bit,” adds Aimee.

The two businesses plan to add at least four new portraits to the walls in the next four to six months and to rotate them out over time in keeping with the goal of the boutique. Brides who participate in the event are provided with a complimentary bridal portrait session, in the Pure Expressions Photography studio, or at a local location of their choice and the opportunity to be displayed within the Gorgeous Gowns boutique.
