A Message from Aimee
|
Every year, we go to the state fair. It’s a tradition for our family. The kids ride rides, play games and complain. I eat food that I shouldn’t even consider edible and at the end of the day, we’ve all got stomach aches. But man, it’s fun!
What you won’t see, when we go out, is the professional camera. I photograph my family in much the same way you do — with a point and shoot (and yes, I hate the shutter lag with a passion!). Snapshots, though, are our family’s way of remembering all the important, crazy, silly moments in our lives, and I promise there are many of them.
So the next time you see me looking at the back of a camera — into a screen vs. through the lens, know that at that moment, I am no different than every other mom out there … trying, sometimes fruitlessly, to capture a moment in time.

Little bunny!
This little girl made her way into the world not long ago. In our session at her home, just a few days after her birth, she couldn’t have been sweeter … and with big sister hanging out with us … couldn’t have had a better companion.
Her gorgeous coat is actually a hand-me-down from big sister — one I think may get handed down for generations to come. It, along with big sister, Mom and Dad made for wonderful photography last month! Congratulations on so many counts!

Why do we project our images? During your ordering session, you’ll see your images on a large (8′) screen. We do this for many reasons, but one reason is that we don’t have to produce 30-40 proof images that get thrown away at the end. Projecting images also lets you see the exact crop and the exact size that you’ll be purchasing — from wallet sized images to 50″ prints! Best of all there is nothing to throw away at the end of the day!
