Congratulations Kimberly & John!

What a beautiful, timeless wedding! We spent quite a bit of our time at the MacGregor Down’s Country Club in Cary. This was the first time I’d ever been and man, it was nice! It’s got one of those “old” charms to it … with the deep, dark, rich wood tones that blend beautifully with evening wear and wedding attire.

But, of course, that’s not where we started. 🙂 It all started way back when … a long long time ago … in a land far far away … or not. 🙂 It started and we got to photograph this new beginning!

The wedding was at St. Michael’s in Cary. The flower girls and ring bearers were the hit of the event (aside from the bride and groom of course! 😉 ).

Anticipation — and catching that on film — is amazingly fun. 🙂 For some it’s stressful. For others it’s pure excitement.

Of course, once all was said and done, the party got started!

I guess they couldn’t find any real help. 😉 Or maybe this little guy wanted to be the helper of the day! No matter what, he made the long trek from car to reception carrying this box … which is about his own size!

Who can beat these colors?

Tender moments are the name of the game with these two. They seem so connected and so together. So connected to their families, but able to find a moment together as well — admist the entire group.

If our brides and grooms trust us (and they all do!) we “steal” their rings during the reception for a few creative shots. This particular Saturday evening, we spent playing with their platinum rings on top of a candle, lit and highlighting the gifts table. Tada! Success!

There are TONS more images. I wish I could show them all off to you here, but suffice it to say, this was a beautiful wedding and we were so blessed to be a part of it — photographically.

Congratulations gain to you guys!
