If you are a Mom (or Dad) of boys, then you know. No, actually, Mom’s know, Dad’s not as much. There is something about us Moms. We LOVE our boys. And we want to have fantastic portraits of them to remember how they were, in fact, once little … once growing … once smaller than us.

And then, all the sudden, they are reaching those teens years (or gettin’ close) and they just don’t want to cooperate with our vision of perfection. 🙂 So instead, we have to laugh and remember … boys will be boys.

I do have one boy, so I do know. Why I picked these as my favs? Because they remind me of what my son would do and I thought they were worth a good chuckle … and maybe a spot in a magazine!

One serious one though … this one is reminiscent of last years’ outdoor portrait — which this Mom has and so does one hang at Bruegger’s in Apex. 🙂
