I am very rarely, in front of the camera. On November 8th, I was once again photographing my own children, for our Christmas card. As we concluded our mini-event, my son asked if he could photograph his sisters and I with my old Sony point-and-shoot.

Of course I could never let that happen and handed over my fancy-shmancy camera, set the settings appropriately and gave him a quick tutorial. He snapped 10 or so photographs and in the process got one that even *I* thought was good of me.

I am my worst critic, so to actually like a photograph of myself it must be good. And my son, the budding photographer snapped what has become, my favorite photo of myself. 🙂
