Wikipedia defines a girl as Bat Mitzvah at the age of 12 and when she becomes responsible for her own actions and responsibility for Jewish ritual law, tradition and ethics is then placed in her own hands, and no longer solely resides in the hands of the parents. It’s a new “title” of sorts, not a term for a celebration or party. But, the ceremony and of course the party are what many people think of.

I was privileged to photograph the awesome celebration for this young lady. Congratulations Samantha!

The gorgeous cake from Sweet Memories Bakery in Apex… this is the 2nd time I’ve photographed an event with a cake from Sweet Memories. *I* want to have a party with a cake made by them! 🙂
