I’ve spent quite a bit of time lately, getting input and feedback from other photographers and coming up with new ideas, in keeping with my own desire for simplicity. The goal, for my photography is really to capture pure expressions… the ones that form through interactions with me or other people… not a prop. But, sometimes, an activity can be fun!

Therefore, all the following fun type of activities are available to your family and children during their photography session.

Paint! Please note that for this activity, advance notice is required! 

Reflections. Reflections can be made on any solid color, black, white, blue or raspberry. Reflections are a great way to get little ones to interact and make maternity sessions fun!

Cake! Cupcakes make a great addition to first birthday photographs. For health reasons, you should plan to bring the cupcakes yourself. They will also not be used until the last 10-15 minutes of the session to ensure the “clean” photographs are completed first!
